Music: "Music is a doorway into the presence of God"
Music serves an essential part of our common worship; it is not something we do as part of the liturgy, it is a primary ingredient in the recipe, like yeast is to bread. People of all ages may exercise music ministry in different ways. Some play the organ, piano or guitar, some accompany on a wind or persussion instrument, some sing in the choir, some lead the congregation as cantor or psalmist. ALL music ministers have the goal of engaging the assembly in musical worship.
