In Luke’s account of “The Cleansing of Ten Lepers,” we realize that of the ten lepers Jesus healed, only one came back to thank Him. (Lk 17:11-19). That brings us to the point of ‘being thankful.’ We are called to follow the example of the one who was healed and returned to Him to show gratitude for what He has done in his life.
We are called to build a daily habit of acknowledging all the good in life we already have. And so, as thankful followers of Jesus Christ, we called “to bloom where we are planted.” And by that, we bring the presence of God and God’s Goodness through Jesus Christ wherever we go.
And so, as grateful children of God, we are encouraged to show our gratitude for how much we have received from God by sharing our treasures, gifts, time, and talents to meet the needs of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
On behalf of Divine Savior Catholic Church, I would like to reiterate our sincere appreciation for your awesome support. Your generous contribution is helping us to spread the message of love of our Divine Savior, Jesus Christ.
